The mortuary services at the CWM Hospital will be outsourced soon.

The Ministry of Health is calling for expressions of interest from local and overseas companies to undertake services at the mortuary in Suva.

Spokesperson Peni Namotu says this is an effort by the Ministry to focus on its core functions.

“The new organisation will not only be taking over the services – but at the same time be providing consumables as well. In order for the mortuary to be servicing our people. Our pathologists will be working under the new company.”

Mortuary services at the divisional hospitals will also be outsourced.

  1. This is just more outsourcing following recent achievements. The Fiji government has been outsourced to the thug military with great success. The military also won the tender (not advertised) to run the police and qorvis are running the ministry of misinformation. We haven’t outsourced the judiciary yet as the current morons are totally compliant and do whatever khaiyum tells them,

  2. The regime will be shortly announcing an election, followed by the outsourcing of various positions in government to the army… Outsourcing at its finest.

  3. The useless Fiji military proudly announces that it has now been outsourced to the mickey mouse club.

  4. A very good move to ensure an efficient operations of the mortuary services. The hospital should indeed focus on its core functions that is to provide a good health services to all the people of Fiji.

    Vinaka Voreqe.

  5. This is the dumb and thug junta REFORM- soon all toilet services to be outsourced.

    Gret structural reforms .

  6. No Muslim will use this mortuary service although they might just be one of the ‘outsourcers’! So please can the real kai Viti please do not let your dead for too long in the morgue- why not be like Muslims and bury your dead before sunset same day? No need to wait for so and so in the British army etc etc just to show off that the deceased got relatives overseas. They can;t bring back the dead! Come on wake up and see where your money is going…funerals are getting very expensive for kai Viti and yet they can’t see it.

  7. Please note traditional Taukei do not publicly advise Muslims or anybody else on sensitive social & religous matters – & in Guru’s case monetary.

Please extend us this same courtesy.

We’ll bury our dead – Muslims can bury theirs & people such as Goatherder & Guru can do whatever they want with theirs? Vinaka.

  8. Now Illegal Military Junta are trying to make a Profit out of Dead Fijian People. I hope the Illegal Military Regime do not realise the more Fijian People they kill the more money they make. Could be Massacres everywhere especially in those places where they do not kiss the arse of the Illegal Narcissistic Military Dictator.
