Praise where it is due.

Praise where it is due.

Commissioner Western Commander Joeli Cawaki deserves praise for his actions in the response to the recent floods.

I had the privilege to be present when he lost his temper with a collection of government officials that were causing the normal bureaucratic holdup in the aid.

He told them to ignore all the rules and concentrate on getting the aid to those who they served.

He said even an hours delay in the aid was not acceptable.

He also refused the demand by the education department to evict the refugees until he had found alternative accommodation.

He told them that anyone he found causing an obstruction to the aid would be dealt with severely.

While in normal times this might seem overly authoritarian he is operating under a declared emergency so has full control.

He has been working long hard hours and looks very ragged  and tired.

He is the right man in the right job and deserves our praise and support.

  1. Radio. Eejit.

You are a downright hypocrite, never expect anything less fro the likes of you.

The jungle cock in you is coming to the fore, go and enjoy your boyfriend and leave Fiji to those who by their very nature are leaders.

I was in Fiji over the last three weeks and was unfortunately caught up in the recently floods that claimed six or maybe seven lives and let me tell you boy Bainimarama and his crew are serving the people very well.

    Viva La Bainimarama.

  2. @ Dalit

Poor Sai. He feels a bit under the weather at the moment – so he likes to pretend to be different people.

Too bad that there is only one idiot silly enough to post such predictable drivel.

  3. Radio Dipper.

Have your boyfriend been treating you well?

No boy contrary to your somewhat brain-dead belief, I feel very well indeed, having contributed and
utilised my civic duty among those who needed it the most, unlike you half baked Fijian’s all you good for is fisting your mouth among other things.

What have you done for you fellow-men Eejit?

Those that are in need, that is.

  4. @ Ratu Sai

Unlike you, I provide donations for those in need – not simply sit back with my goats and bleat about how great Frank.

But you are probably more like your hero – happy to talk and take pictures, rather than take concrete action and put your money where your mouth is – that is, if you could ever bear to remove it from Frank’s behind…

  5. Radio Folderol.

Boy you speak some crap, where were you when the good lord handed out brains? i suppose you were the last one in the cue.

    What donations you speak of?

Again I ask you what have you done for your fellow Fijian’s in their hour of need?

I suppose sitting in a corner pulling your pud.

Unlike moi I was at the coalface contributing substantial financial assistance among other things lend a helping hand, cant say much for you Fijian pud pullers their in Australia.

When are going to learn this fact Bainimarama is the best thing since slice bread and Fiji is very grateful to him lead.

  6. Sai

You were in your farm tending to the goats so cut the crap about lending a helping hand.

Bainimarama is the best thing since the pit toilet to the likes of you only.
