Recent statistics released by the Ministry of Health shows that out of the 850 trained doctors in the country 400 have left for greener pastures last year.

The figures show that there are only 450 trained doctors in the country with some involved in private and public practice.

  7. This is not the reporting that Fiji needs! ll those doctors are not needed anyway! Fijians are healthy people, doctors are a heavy burden on the countries economy. Seeing them go is positive as they are also unreliable intellectuals who use their brains and have come to the ill advised conclusion that Fiji holds no future. We do not need such people here.

    you cant stop anyone from leaving Fiji……

    I bet if all indigenous fijians were given a visa to go overseas , USA, cANADA, aUSTRALIA, nz etc, 80% will leave at the earliest boat to depart.

    And believe me you, the speed at which they will leave is nothning compared to the escape of fuguitive Te Mara.on board of tongan navy ship.
