People who need clarifications on the source of funds and donations of any political party must write to the Fijian Elections Office. Supervisor of elections Mohammed Saneem says they will respond to any queries if proper procedures are followed.“The Fijian elections office encourages Fijians who may have queries regarding declaration published by the Fijian elections office for any political party, to write to us, to formalize with us the process of giving us particulars in regards to any declarations – that is how we will work on it.”Questions were raised by some political parties on the source of funding and donation for FijiFirst Party after they declared their assets and liabilities last week

  1. Any concerned citizen can come and lodge the necessary complaint forms at our office. If the complaint relates to Fiji First or any of its candidates, the complaint must be accompanied with a at least 50,000 signatures. The lodgement fee is $75,000 ($US) and the form can only be lodged between 3:00 am and 3:01 am on the first Saturday of any month with 30 days. Please note that our office will be temporarily closed for this purpose until September 18, 2014.
