University of the South Pacific’s former Professor of Economics Biman Prasad has been unanimously elected the new leader of the National Federation Party.
In the party’s annual general meeting this morning, Suva lawyer Tupou Draunidalo was appointed NFP’s new President.
Draunidalo has replaced Raman Pratap Singh who has been the President for NFP for the past nine years.
When approached, Singh said he will still be a member and is considering being a candidate in the upcoming elections.
Around 600 people are attending the party’s AGM and convention at Nadi Sangam School.
