PDP stays strong

DESPITE the resignation of founding member Nirmal Singh, the People’s Democratic Party says it is getting stronger by the day.

Interim party general secretary Sat Narayan said their supporters were growing all over Fiji.

“Our aim is to register about 34 to 40 per cent voters to our side, so we are working tirelessly,” he said.

“We have people on the ground working every day to get this.”

Mr Narayan said the party’s focus was to reduce unemployment and create more work opportunities.

“We have plans to ignite investment, create employment, reduce squatter problems, homelessness, landlessness and focus on other big issues.”

Mr Narayan said Fiji’s economy was not growing and the country was getting into major debts.

He added that if PDP wins the polls, it would reinstate the rule of law.

“No rule of law means the law is applied differently to the supporters of the government and the … decrees in place bar community leaders — the unionists — from participating in political activities, so that itself is not an even playing field.”

  1. Nirmal Singh was NOT the Founding Member – he came on board after the party was formed – go ask PDP Board

  2. Nirmal must live in Nirwana. Does this idiot really think that he can win elections? The outcome has of the next elections has been determined in 2006.

  3. the Rule of Law in Fiji will ONLY be restored when the Fiji military re-learns its proper place in a democratic society.
there is no sign at this time that the Fiji military has done that.
the Fiji military illegally took over government in 2006 and it is still running the country according to its diktats.
the Rule of Law is subordinate to the diktats of the Fiji military.
    this is a Fiji Fact!

  4. PDP has no spine, at least Nirmal Singh had spine and people of Fiji need educated citizens , new faces to fight the elections.

Just see who the executives are of PDP>>

Old rejected union thugs like felix and Urai,

these two suckers were sleeping and part of the current government, filling their pockets, until VB realised that and kicked them out along with Fiji’s greatest CONMAN and their saviour, M P Chaudhary..

Now Sat Narayan, a retired police man wants us all voters to think that this is not so.

He is in contempt of court when he says there is no rule of law in Fiji. The Fiji police should charge this guy and bring him before the courts for making a mockery of the judiciary.
