Targeting the youth vote……… youth seldom vote for the status quo

Role of youths vital in election

Nasik Swami Wednesday, February 26, 2014

YOUTHS will play an important role in electing Fiji’s new government.

That is the belief of National Federation Party president Raman Pratap Singh as the party activated its youth branch.

Mr Singh said NFPs youth committee had started work actively to engage the country’s youths into politics.

“The youth group had been activated and we were formalising it in the AGM — it will be part of the party structure and work independently,” he said.

Mr Singh said they would engage more youths as the election approaches.

“They are very important and are future leaders — we continuously put a lot of emphasis on the youths.

“We want to get the views of the youths and involve them in discussions so they are aware of Fiji’s politics.

“They are very vital and constitute a large percentage of the voters.”

  1. “We want to get the views of the youths and involve them in discussions so they are aware of Fiji’s politics”

Is this wassock living on a another planet?

The youths of Fiji are very well aware of the corrupt politics of old and the vultures who wallows in such corrupt practises for their own self preservation.

There is only one salvation for youths of Fiji and that is support and vote for Papa Frank.
