This is really good news! Could the colonel also tell us which public he refers to? Speaking to an Aussi news program, he perhaps refers to the Australian public. For us in Fiji the picture looks a little different. We are afraid of being beaten, firebombed, killed or imprisoned on fabricated charges. We are afraid to do what is necessary to end Fiji’s suffering: disbanding the military. And yes we are afraid when brutes knock on our doors in the middle of the night to take us to the barracks. But eventually we will overcome our fear and we will fight for our freedom.

John appears to be craven in that he is so scared of been beaten, than one asks how are you die hard anti regime supporters to reach some sort of finality in your pursuit of your demented justice when you all lack courage?

  5. Qorvis and Sharon Johns actually let him loose in the Australian media? Impressive!

No longer will it be a public secret in Fiji that Tikoitoga epitomizes the word DUNCE, now Australia and New Zealand citizens can be in on the gag too. Bloody Marvellous!

His straw poll was like any other consultations with the public stare them down in force and ask if they have any problems with their treatement.
