For us in Fiji the picture looks a little different. We are afraid of being beaten, firebombed, killed or imprisoned on fabricated charges. We are afraid to do what is necessary to end Fiji’s suffering: disbanding the military. And yes we are afraid when brutes knock on our doors in the middle of the night to take us to the barracks. But eventually we will overcome our fear and we will fight for our freedom.
