Fijitoday is constantly getting reports of the police stopping and harassing people out after dark.

There may be no official curfew in place but the police are acting like nazis and searching people stopped at random.

They are checking identification and removing anything they find that they are concerned about. There have been two reported thefts by police one of cigaretes and one of some grog.

Cigarette lighters are regularly being confiscated. We believe the police fear arson attacks as the most likely start of any unrest.
